This is a unique company. Good prices, not great but very competitive. Some things you can't find elsewhere. What really causes them to stand out in my book is their attention to their customer. The customer service is top notch and if you can't get satisfaction from the regular customer service line the president's office will actually take your calls AND handle your problem until you are completely satisfied. Amazing! I would have not problem recommending this site to anyone particularly people who have a tough time shopping. Try it, you'll like it.

I ordered a Today's Special Value Mintek 8.5" Portable DVD Player to take on a plane trip and when I received it, it would only play 1 out of 5 original DVDs. It just kept spinning and spinning around and wouldn't load them. If you check elsewhere on the web, you will find that Mintek (a Chinese manufacturer) has a very bad reputation for its portable DVD players. Everything that can go wrong with them does go wrong. Unfortunately, I thought QVC had some quality control measures in place, but obviously not. This player did not work right out of the box just as many other people have written in online reviews. I even called customer service before I ordered to see if they had checked into the quality of this item. Obviously, QVC cannot be trusted to sell electronics that work. I went to Best Buy and for less than half the price, bought a very serviceable 7" Insignia unit which plays all my DVDs with no problem.

Beware the quality of items sold by QVC.
